Snowmobile safety course planned

On December 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, the Ogden Police Department will sponsor a NYS certified snowmobile safety course. The course is mandatory for youth 10 to 17 years of age; however, youth over 18 are also invited to attend.

This course will be held at the Ogden Justice Court, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport. Bring a bagged lunch and drink. A test will be given at the conclusion of the course and students will receive a New York State Snowmobile Safety Certificate at the successful completion of the course and exam. Students must be present for the entire class.

Students must pre-register for this free class by calling the Town of Ogden Police Department at 352-2131. Class size is limited to the first pre-registered 25 participants. Registration must be completed no later than December 1. Call 352-2131 for information.
