Dercqu, Helen J. (Gaurich), on October 31, 2005 at age 77. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Dercqu Sr.; granddaughter Amanda and great grandson, Joshua. Survived by her son, Robert II (Anne); daughter Susan (Jim); brother, Edward Gaurich of Pennsylvania; sisters, Audrey Spiering and Jean Kish of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Lisa (Mark) Dixon and Robert Dercqu III and Peter Dercqu; great grandchildren Jesse and Ashleigh Dixon, Faith and Autumn Dercqu, Robert Dercqu IV, Aleighsha and Jonathan.

BROCKPORT
Bergan, Doris M., On Wednesday, November 16, 2005 in Concord, North Carolina. She leaves behind her daughter, Bonnie M. (Stephen) Park of Harrisburg, North Carolina; grandchildren, Stephen B. Park of Concord, North Carolina, Shawn (Rebecca) Park of Farmington, New Mexico, Sheryl M. Park of Concord, North Carolina; sister, Arlene Bell of Batavia; brothers, Edwin (Genevieve) Smith of Brockport, Robert (Margaret) Smith of Naples; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held November 22 at the Brockport Free Methodist Church. Interment was private. Donations can be made to the Brockport Free Methodist Church in her memory.
Penrose, Hattie S. (Bragg) (Perry), On November 17, 2005, at age of 96. Predeceased by her husbands, Deforest Bragg, Richard Perry and Christopher Penrose. She is survived by her son, Deforest (Julia) Bragg; step-daughter, Mary Miller; grandchildren, Duane Bragg, Rebecca (Mike) Turcotte, Ronald Bragg, Douglas Bragg, Darrin Bragg and Cheryl Bragg; six great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her cousin, Chuck (Betty) Evans; and two nieces.
Funeral Services were held November 21 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
CLARENDON
Gurgir, Edward H., On November 18, 2005 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Gale; children, Mark Gurgir, Karen (Jerry) Boyack, David (Corrine) Gurgir, Laurie (Al) Hofschneider; stepchildren, Dwight (Cathy) Winkley, Darryl (Sally) Winkley, Dwayne (Lisa) Winkley, Darrin (Anne) Winkley; several grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Jean) Gerger; sister, Joan Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment was private. Those wishing can contribute to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport 14450 in his memory.
HOLLEY
Bedrin, John J., Age 64, died November 18, 2005. He is the loving husband to Shirley; loving father of Brian (Tina) Bedrin of Ontario, Canada, SSGT Kenneth Bedrin, USAF of Fort Mill, South Carolina; loving step-father of Michael (Rhonda) Sliker of Holley, Mark (Kristina) Cates of Virginia, Jason (Christine) Cates of Greece; loving grandfather of eight grandchildren; loving brother of Andrew J. (Marge) Bedrin of California, Richard (Polly) Bedrin of Montana, Helen (Bernard) Kulesa of Macedon, Irene (William) Newell of Pennsylvania, Marion (Gerald) Rupp of Ohio, Margie (Glenn) Lamoreaux of Colorado, Linda (James) Sheridan of Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. John retired from General Motors in 1998, after 33 years of service.
Funeral Services were held November 22 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 5500 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14221 in his memory.
KENT
Couch, Donald E., "Don," age 73, died unexpectedly on November 19, 2005. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion Sheret Post #35. He worked at Kodak, where he retired in 1984. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, whom he married in 1953; children, Paul (Sue) Couch of Holley, Stephen (Dianne) Couch of Kendall, Thomas (Amy) Couch of Albion, Henry Couch of Kent, Elizabeth (Edward) Montgomery of Webster, Susan Turturro of Holley; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Rhodes of Florida, Judy Wolfe of Rochester; nieces and nephews. He is prede-ceased by two sons, Peter and Michael Couch; one granddaughter; two brothers.
Funeral Services were held November 22 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Honors. Donations can be made to the MS Foundation or the West Webster Fire Department in his memory.
NORTH CHILI
Denome, John C., Jr., November 19, 2005, suddenly. Predeceased by his father, John C. Denome. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra Denome; mother, Pearl Denome; son, Ronald; brother, Fred Denome; sisters, Jeanne (George) Richeson, Yvonne Drake and Cora Denome; father and mother-in-law, Sandy (Jean) Mendolera; brothers-in-law Ron (Mary) Mendolera and Rick (Donna) Mendolera; God daugh-ters, Michelle Mendolera and Kaitlyn Chrysler. John was a member and past Deputy Chief of the Chili Fire Department and Ambulance. He was also a Navy vet-eran of the Vietnam War.
A Funeral Mass was said November 23 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Chili Fire Department.
Palmer, Lucy A. (Bianchi), Suddenly, on November 17, 2005, at age 76. She is predeceased by her brothers, Samuel, John and Joseph Bianchi. She is survived by her children, Wendy Whitney, Tracy (David) Pasker, Christine (Dean Kruger) Goodford, Holly Palmer and their father, Charles Palmer; grandchildren April and Patrick Whitney, Joshua Palmer, Leah and Shayla Pasker, Nicholas Kruger; great-granddaughters, Angelena and Bianca Rivera; brothers, Louis Bianchi, Nicholas Bianchi, Frank (Ursela) Bianchi, Thomas (Nancy) Bianchi, Richard Bianchi; sisters, Lula Giordano, Lena (Albert) Loce, Mary (William) Harasymchuk, Nancy (Martin) Kachel, Katherine Stauffer; many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews and good friend, Lou Pagano.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated November 21 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong in her memory.
