Hamlin couple delivers quintuplets

Marisol and Carlos Barreiro, of Hamlin, welcomed five babies into the family on Wednesday, December 7. Their four-year-old, Soleemar, is now a big sister to three girls and two boys.

The children are being cared for in Golisano Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They are expected to remain in the NICU for at least a couple months.

The Barreiro quintuplets are the first quintuplets born in Rochester since 1993.
