B-B freshmen join drug-free coalition

Byron-Bergen High School freshmen Lauren Mullen and Kayleigh Puma attended the quarterly meeting of the Drug-Free Communities Coalition at Genesee Community College as youth representatives. They were tapped by the co-chairs of the Youth Involvement Subcommittee, Karen Musson of GCASA and Loren Penman of Byron-Bergen.

The subcommittee is working on methods to bring safe and age-appropriate activities to students within their own communities. Other members of the subcommittee represent law enforcement, outreach groups, GCC and three other local high schools.
