Holley third graders worked with Doug Waterman, songwriter and performer, to turn a familiar story into song. After reading Maggie Smith's There's a Witch Under the Stairs, students developed an idea list to add details to a song about the story, decided how the song should "feel" musically, and then wrote and sang the new song.
