Winners announced in Riga Recreation Holiday Decorating Contest

The Town of Riga Recreation and Community Events Department held a holiday decorating contest for the community in December. There were 28 houses entered in the contest. Judging took place on December 19, 20 and 21.

First place winners of $125 were Randy and Darlene Fisher of 58 East Buffalo Street. The second place winners of $100 were Craig and Lisa Meyer of 26 North Main Street. The third place winner of $75 was Eric Kmentt of 24 Redfern Drive. The fourth place winner of a $50 Wegmans gift card was Helene Post of 11 Ridgefield Drive.

The following businesses sponsored the prizes for this year's program: Gary Gayton and The Bank of Castile, Qualicoat Inc., Dr. Henry Paszko and Churchville Family Medicine, Jim Barnard Chevrolet, Gary Johnson and Churchville Insurance Agency, Chili Wegmans and Brodner Equipment Inc.
