Holley's Glenn Robb, a third grader in Lisa Hendry's class, takes part in Sustained Silent Reading, a time when all students and staff stop what they are doing to read silently for 20 to 30 minutes. Superintendent Bob D'Angelo read with Hendry's class. The purpose of the program, which was launched in December, is to stress the importance of reading across the curriculum.
