Nineteen new members were inducted into the Byron-Bergen chapter of the National Junior Honor Society on November 9, 2005. Featured speaker for the evening was Greg Stanton, a middle and high school math teacher, who received the Teacher of the Year Award for the 2004-05 school year. 7th grade inductees: Nicole Bailey, Amanda Brown, Shannon Dermody, Mackenzie Heale, Anna Long, Katherine Schrenker, Samantha Streeter. 8th grade inductees: Hannah Bliss, Morgan Clark, Shelby Cross, Allayna Dehond, McKenna Downey, Zoey Gaenzler, David Kenward, Karisa Kobel, Cassidy Longhini, Dakota Longhini, Sean O'Neill, Ryan Roberts.
