Joe Canale, a member of the Town of Kendall Recreation Board for the past 13 years, was chosen 2005 New York State West Youth Soccer Volunteer of the Year. He supervises and instructs an indoor soccer program for students in 7th through 12th grade. He runs an indoor soccer clinic for children in grades three through six. Last summer, he coached a girls 16-under soccer team and assisted in coaching a boys 11-13 year old team. He trains all of the referees and helps out on registration nights.
