Eichas named Birdseye Foods-Section V Player of the Year
Hilton High School senior soccer star Jimmy Eichas has been selected as the Birds Eye Foods-Section V Player of the Year. He scored 13 goals and had seven assists for the Cadets, helping them to 9 wins, 6 losses and 2 ties. Shown right is Hilton High Soccer Coach Paul Davis who presented the plaque to Eichas. The plaque was contributed by Birds Eye Foods. Shown left, Dave Sarachan, a Rochester native, who coaches the Chicago Fire. Sarachan played outstanding soccer, first at Brighton High, then at Monroe Community College, and then at Cornell University. He later played professionally with several teams and coached several pro teams.
