K of C free throw contest Jan. 21

Our Lady of the Cenacle Council 3892 of the Knights of Columbus in Greece will host a local competition for the Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Championship to be held on Saturday, January 21 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo School Gym, 64 Maiden Lane. There's no fee to participate.

Open to all boys and girls ages 10 to 14, the Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually by the Knights of Columbus. Winners progress through local, district and state level competitions. The Knights of Columbus international headquarters, based on scores from the state competitions, will announce the international champions. Last year, more than 179,000 sharpshooters participated in over 3,000 local competitions. All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event.
