Lakeside Memorial Hospital's Employee of the Month for January is Terry Wallace. Wallace has been working at Lakeside Memorial Hospital as an R.N. in the Surgical Department for close to one year. He resides in Spencerport. Nominated by his peers, Wallace was commended on his flexibility, impeccable work ethic, positive attitude, sense of humor and compassionate patient care. "Terry strives to do the best job possible and is a perfect example of what an OR nurse should be. He is well liked and respected by all members of the surgical team and patients. He's always willing to work overtime and help where ever needed," Patricia Martin, R/N, CNOR, R.N.F.A. Director of Nursing, Surgical Services, said. A reception was held to honor Wallace and present him with the valued Employee Parking Space, gift certificates from the Twig Gift Shop and the Family Wellness Center.
