Spencerport High School senior Nikki Bujak visited London, England where she cheered in the London New Year's Day Parade. She was selected to be a Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) All-Star at a summer cheerleading camp last August. The parade hosted over 10,000 performers and had a street-side audience of over one million people. The event was televised to more than 20 million people around the world. While in London, Bujak toured with other members of the UCA staff and all-stars visiting such places as The Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Place, the British Museum, Madame Tussaud's, Windsor Castle, Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus. Nicole Bujak is captain of the Spencerport High School Varsity Cheerleading squad and a member of the National Honor Society, the Business Honor Society and a member of Who's Who in American High School Students. She plans to attend SUNY Brockport College after high school graduation. January 15, 2006 |
