Megan Baker, daughter of James and Stacey Baker of Kendall, has been named to the fall 2005 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester.

Baker, a freshman, is a communications and political science major.

To be eligible for the dean's list at St. John Fisher College, a student must have attained at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.


Kellie Ricer, of Parma, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Alfred State College. A first year student in Alfred's Architectural Engineering program, she is studying architectural drawing and design.

She is the daughter of Dwayne and Christine Ricker of Parma and a 2005 graduate of Spencerport High School.


Alexandra Liccione, daughter of Tony and Patty Liccione of Hamlin, and a 2005 graduate of Brockport High School, was named to the dean's list for the fall term at St. John Fisher College.


Area students named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Alfred State College include: Jeffrey Warren, Brockport; Timothy Boerschlein, Churchville; Cody Rath, Hamlin; Jamie Bucci, Hilton; Lauren Adams, Michael Bayer, Kristina Bellis, Timothy Blood, Ernestine Brown, Daniel Sanghoon Cho, Jennifer Cornell, Timothy Gaelens, Brian Giardino, Paul Guillod, Jill Gunderson, Trevor Hibbard, Dale Northrup, Joshua Sanchez, Michael Schultz, Mary Seaman, Alexander Smith, all of Rochester; Zachary Deruyter, Theresa Muniz, Kellie Ricker all of Spencerport.

Students from both the Alfred campus and the School of Applied Technology campus in Wellsville are selected for the dean's list if they maintain a 3.50 grade point average (GPA) out of a possible 4.0.


Amy Fitzsimmons, daughter of Thomas and Sharon Fitzsimmons of Churchville, a 2001 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School, has been named to the fall 2005 dean's list at St. John Fisher College. She is a senior education major.


Melayne Karnitz, a member of the Class of 2006 at Wells College, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester. She is the daughter of Michael and Deborah Karnitz of Brockport.


Laurie Farnsworth of Spencerport has been named to the dean's list for the fall quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Farnsworth is majoring in sign language interpretation.

The dean's list recognizes the academic achievement of students earning a 3.4 grade point average (GPA) or better.


Courtney Kwiatkowski, daughter of Mark and Bette Kwiatkowski, has been named to the fall 2005 dean's list at St. John Fisher College. Kwiatkowski, a sophomore, is a psychology major.

Daniel M. Horowitz, of Hilton, has been named to the dean's list for the fall quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. A second year student in RIT's School of Print Media, he is studying graphic design and has been chosen for numerous printing awards including the Guttenberg. He is the son of Martin and Mary Horowitz and is a 2003 graduate of Hilton High School.


Amber Lehman of Churchville and Marisa Roach of Spencerport have been named to the president's list at Houghton College.


Michele L. Connors of Brockport has achieved the dean's list at SUNY College at Brockport for fall of 2005. She is a 2003 graduate of Brockport High School and is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Connors.


Christine Walker of Brockport has achieved the dean's list with honors at SUNY College at Brockport for fall 2005. She is a 2004 graduate of Brockport High School and is the daughter of William and Eleanor Walker.


Kathryn Oechsle of Spencerport has been awarded a $1,000 academic scholarship by the National Society of Accountants (NSA) Scholarship Foundation. Oechsle is a third year accounting student at Saint John Fisher College.


Tom Zubert of RE/MAX First, received the prestigious Sales Master Award at the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors Luncheon & Award Ceremony held November 11, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Rochester. This is the 18th consecutive year he has received the recognition. This award places him in the top 5 percent of the GRAR sales force. Zubert has helped over 1,550 families achieve their dream of home ownership since 1975.

A Gates resident, he was the association's President for 1995, Realtor of the Year in 1999, and holds many coveted Real Estate Professional designations. He joined RE/MAX in 1990 and is a recipient of the 100% Club Award from RE/MAX of New York and is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
