Rangers swimmers swamp Cadets

Spencerport won three of the first four events of the meet and swam to a 93-76 victory at Hilton in boy's swimming.

In solo efforts, the Rangers John Stoffel won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:21.29, Charlie Smith squeaked out a win in the 50-yard freestyle in :24.64, Walter Sanders was first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:10.09 and Adam Ziobroski won the 100-yard breastroke in 1:11.29.

The relay team of CJ Hura, Doug Hampton, Kellan Head and Stoffel won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:59.18 and Ziobroski, Smith, Sanders and Stoffel took first in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:40.61 for Spencerport.

Hilton was led by two-time winner Brendan Goodwine who won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:58.99 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:32.32. He was also part of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team with Nick Snell, Matt Sadowski and Jeff Rowland in 3:48.84.

Sadowski won the 100-yard freestyle in :54.30 and Scott Joly took top honors in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:06.39.
