Girl Scout Troop 904 visited Marilyn's Café in Churchville to learn about women in business. Chef and owner Marilyn Burke-Zambuto spoke with the young women concerning all aspects of owning and operating a small business. Many detailed questions were asked from the young women as they expressed their own dreams and aspirations to also become future businesswomen. After taking numerous notes, Troop 904 left with knowledge to assist in their goals of achieving Girls Scouts' highest honor armed with cookies from the café in their hands. January 29, 2006 |
