Legion officers make local visit

A first this year for the Department of New York, the Department Commander, Department President and Detachment Commander, Sons of the American Legion are from the 7th District. This includes Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne and Yates counties.

The officers, Commander Stanley Clark, Yates; President Mary Williams, Cayuga and SAL Commander Tom Kurk, Wayne will make their annual visit to Monroe County. Commander Rene Vermuellen and President Lee Sweet will host a dinner in their honor, Friday, February 10 at the Ferris Goodridge Post, Trimmer Road, Spencerport. Social hour will be at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. $16.
