Jessica Maher, daughter of Tom and Ann Maher of Churchville, has been named to the fall 2005 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester.

Maher, a junior, is a history education major.

To be eligible for the dean's list at St. John Fisher College, a student must have attained at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.


Phillip C. Trautman, of East Buffalo Street, Churchville, has achieved the dean's list at SUNY College at Brockport for fall of 2005. He is a graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and the son of Ruth Warlick and Phillip Trautman.

Trautman is also the recipient of a spring 2005 Outstanding Award from the Department of Political Science and International Studies at SUNY Brockport.


Andrea Nicole Chinappi, of Parma Center Road, Hilton, has achieved the dean's list at SUNY College at Brockport for fall of 2005. She is a 2005 graduate of Hilton High School and the daughter of Nick and Laura Chinappi of Hilton.

Chinappi is a student in the School of Arts and Performance at SUNY Brockport, majoring in arts for children with specialty in dance.


Emily McLean, daughter of David and Mary Lou McLean of Spencerport, has been named to the fall 2005 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. McLean, a junior, is an elementary and special education major.

To be eligible for the dean's list at St. John Fisher College, a student must have attained at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.


Genesee Community College, including all six campus locations in Batavia, Albion, Arcade, Dansville, Lakeville and Warsaw, list the following students who were named to the president's list for the fall 2005 semester. Students honored on the president's list have maintained full-time enrollment and earned a quality point index of 3.75 or better.

The following students were named to the dean's list at the State University of New York at New Paltz for the fall 2005 semester:

Sarah Hopkins, a junior majoring in visual arts and Stacey Lascala a freshman majoring in communications, both of Brockport;

Justine Brechue, of Hamlin, a sophomore majoring in art history; and Amy Mintonye, of Hilton, a freshman.

Dean's list designation is preserved for students who excel academically and earn a 3.3 grade point average in a semester with a full-time course load.


Gabrielle Plucknette, of Spencerport, has been named to the dean's list for the fall quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. A third-year student in RIT's School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, she is studying photojournalism. Plucknette, daughter of Tom and Debbie Weller-Plucknette of Spencerport, is a 2003 graduate of Spencerport Central School.


Melissa Miller of Hilton, has achieved the dean's list at SUNY College at Brockport for fall of 2005. She is a 2001 graduate of Hilton High School and is the daughter of James and Suzanne Miller.


Air Force Staff Sergeant Jeffrey Lund has been promoted to Tech Sergeant at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska. He is the son of Greg and Darlene Lund and a 1994 graduate of Brockport High School.


Jessica M. Streb, daughter of William and Jean Streb of Spencerport, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, United States Air Force Nurse Corps on January 30.

Streb is a May 2005 graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
