BOCES 2 students honor bus drivers
BOCES 2 students at the Activities for Daily Living (ADL) house together with their teacher and aides created an appreciation breakfast to honor their bus drivers and drivers' assistants.
Students with disabilities who attend the ADL house, an 1,800 square foot home on the BOCES 2 campus in Spencerport, are working to improve their skills for daily living such as cooking, household maintenance and home economics. Community living, vocational and recreational skills are integrated into the program.
The students who participated in the breakfast were Matt DeLeon, Mike Adams, Prescott Armstrong, Tim Pietraszewski, Eric Heffer, Nick Smith, Thomas Hernnandez and Desirea Snider. Twenty drivers and their assistants attended the appreciation breakfast.
