Hilton High School senior and goal keeper Rebecca Ritchie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Ritchie, signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for Division I Weber State Wildcats February 6 at Hilton High School. On hand were, from left, Hilton Girls Varsity Soccer Coach Jennifer Monfiletto, former Varsity Coach Deb Lipani, Girls Modified Coach Lori Mambretti and Hilton Director of Athletics Denney Wilcox. Ritchie has been recognized by her coaches as "very hard-working and dedicated." She has played soccer for Hilton for five years and was named First Team All-County her junior and senior years; Second Team her sophomore year; Honorable Mention All-State as a junior; and Fifth Team All-State as a senior. She has also been named goalie for the All-Greater Rochester Team. She plans to study forensic accounting at Weber State. February 12, 2006 |
