New STOP signs installed

The New York State Department of Transportation has changed both intersections of Route 19 (Lake Road East Fork) and Route 360 (Lake Road West Fork) at Brick Schoolhouse Road to 4 way stops. This change took place on Thursday, February 16.

The new traffic signs reflect the need for additional safety measures at the intersection. Numerous accidents have occurred at the location.

The NYSDOT also plans to install flashing red lights under the stop signs similar to those on Brick Schoolhouse Road to further draw motorists' attention.
