Churchville-Chili student artists honored
Several of Churchville-Chili High School's talented art students were honored at the 2006 Scholastic Art Show. They competed against thousands of students from hundreds of different schools across the Finger Lakes Region area.
The following awards were made:
- Excellence in Print Making Award - Nicole Kittel.
- 26th Congressional District Award - Rodi Keisidis (her work will hang in the congressional office for one year)
- Gold Key Award - Jenna Curran for a monotype print, Nicole Kittel for a color lino print, Shelley Indiano for her photography.
- Silver Key Award - Rodi Keisidis for a monotype print; Grace Cuthbert for a painting.
- Honorable Mention Award - Danielle Palumbo for a print, Stef Cheesbro for a print.
- Portfolio Awards - Chris Philson received a Gold Key Award, Stef Cheesbro received a Gold Key Award, Danielle Palumbo received an Honorable Mention.
As Gold Key Award winners for their portfolios, Chris Philson and Stef Cheesbro will move on to a national scholarship competition.
