Groundbreaking set for Greece church

First Bible Baptist Church, located at 1039 North Greece Road, will have a groundbreaking ceremony at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. The new church, located at 990 Manitou Road in Greece, will be a 93,000 square-foot structure and include a 1,200-seat auditorium.

The church has been at its current location since 1967. First Bible's construction project is currently the largest in the town of Greece. The new church campus will be located on a 96-acre parcel purchased by the church in November 2005, adjacent to the 94-acre Grace and Truth Sports Park, also owned by the church.

First Bible Baptist Church, pastored by Dr. George Grace, has an average weekly attendance of about 2,000.
