Scout wins book report contest

Andrew Belfield, a Star Scout in Boy Scout Troop 53, won a national book report contest sponsored by Simon & Schuster Publishing, in Boys Life Magazine. The announcement of his winning entry was made in the February, 2006 issue of Boys Life. Belfield wrote a "Mission Report" on the Hardy Boys book, Extreme Danger.

He received an Apple I-Pod, the complete Hardy Boy Undercover Brothers series of books, a Boys Life cap and other assorted Scout merchandise.

Belfield has been a member of Troop 53 for two years. He is the son of Anne and Mark Belfield, and is a student at Churchville-Chili Junior High School.
