Skills USA raise awareness of the American spirit

SkillsUSA students at the BOCES 2 Career and Technical Center hosted a Patriotic Salute to the American Spirit. Guests were James Pratt, decorated Vietnam Veteran; United States Air Force Colonel Mary Capparelli and Darren Blocker, former United States Marine. The students read inspirational quotes by John Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt and Martin Luther King and many more famous Americans to demonstrate the American spirit. Patriotic songs were presented and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Four hundred students, their teachers and staff at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES attended the Patriotic Salute hosted by the SkillsUSA students.
