Spencerport Ranger athlete commits to Roberts

Laura Willit, a stand out soccer player for the Spencerport Rangers, signed her letter of intent to continue her athletic career at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Willit leaves Spencerport with an accomplished resume. She was named to the All Greater Rochester First Team, All County First Team, and Team MVP this year. In her junior year, she was named All Greater Rochester Second Team and All County First Team. Willit holds the school record for goals in a game, 5, and goals in a season, 18. She has also been a part of two gold medal teams at the Empire State Games and has won 4 state titles with her club team, the Rochester Jr. Rhinos.

"Laura brings a lot of experience to the team; she is a great attacking player with speed and vision, Laura will do a lot of great things while at Roberts and I am looking forward to having her as part of our team," said Coach Berg of Willit's recent signing.
