Hilton Hockey team members recognized at award dinner

The annual Hilton High School Hockey Awards Banquet for the 2005-2006 season was held on Saturday, March 4 at Carmestro's Restaurant in Hilton. This year's team, under the direction of Head Coach John Farnham, Assistant Coaches Chris Monfiletto, Dave Messbauer and Justin Mensing finished the season with a record of 6 wins, 14 losses and 2 ties.

Coach Farnham recognized the following award winners:

Senior Forward Andrew Delgatti, Most Valuable Player
Senior Goalie Josh Jensen, Sportsmanship and 7th Annual Robby Coppaway Scholarship
Sophomore Forward Jon Schwind, Scholar Athlete
Senior Forward Kyle Vinciquerra, Most Improved Player
Junior Forward Aaron Donahey, Most Inspirational
Junior Forward Steve Fose, Coaches Award
Senior Lindsey Merritt, 4th Annual Senior Spectator Scholarship

Coach Farnham also recognized all the players for their dedication, hard work and said he looks forward to next season. Other team players are: seniors Cory Blackburn, Rob McIntosh, Cody Mundorf; juniors Cory Ames, Matt Simon, Nick St. Croix, David Slater, Robby Dill, Jordon Patarino; freshmen Dan Kellman, Brantley Sherwood, Brad Delgatti, Jimmy Gaffney, Bryan Haude, Matt Fracasi and 8th grade defenseman Logan Gagnier.

The Hilton Hockey team also recognized outgoing Booster President Amy O'Brien and Vice President Lori Steiner for their many years of dedicated service to the Hilton Hockey Booster Club.
