AREA

•Rinaldi, Nicholas, of Rochester, died March 14, 2006 in Florida. He was a WWII Veteran. He operated Rinaldi's Tavern on Ridge Road West. He was a member of the Italian-Club, the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Geraldine Marvin Levitt, and granddaughter, Christy, all of Florida and Tracy (Kevin) Rothbeind of Rochester; great-grandson, Josh; brother, Nello; sister, Rose (Mitch) Bianchi both of Rochester, and many nieces and nephews.


•Walrath, Rose J., March 22, 2006. Predeceased by her husband, John G.; son, John D.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; and grandsons, Bryan Cervini and Christopher Thomas. Survived by her children, Jerome (Sandy) of Waco, Texas, Lucia of Fairport, Rose (Delavan) Tice of Montrose, New York, Joan (David) Thomas of Greece, Julie (Richard) Cervini of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Samuel (Pam) of Webster, Mary Beth Curtin, Mary Jo (Leonard) Rizzo of Gates, Joseph (Kathy) of Spencerport, Christopher (Nancy) of Fair Haven, New Jersey, Teresa Walrath of Washington, DC; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth of Pittsford; 30 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held March 25 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Spring Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Brockport. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester 14620 or Seabury Woods, 110 Dalaker Drive, Rochester 14624 in her memory.


BROCKPORT

•Harkin, Joseph B., Dr. Harkin taught mathematics at SUNY Brockport 1971-2003. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Anthony (Rebecca), Christine (Javier), Joseph, Mark (Karen), David, Mary Jo, and Richard; his grandchildren, Olivia, Annabella, Javier, Jenee, Miara and Jessica.

A Funeral Mass was said March 20 at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Donations can be made to Lifetime Assistance Foundation or Nativity Church in his memory.


•Nenni, Margaret, on March 21, 2006 at the age of 97. She is predeceased by her husband, Tracy; son, Ronnie; sisters, Jessie D'Andrea, Mary Zappone and Clara D'Ambrose. She is survived by her sisters, Grace Zappone, Annette (Ted) DeRoberts; several nieces, nephews and special friends Corrine Seevor and Billie Rife.

A Funeral Mass was said March 24 at the Church of the Nativity BVM. Contributions can be made to Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Story Benoit, Margaret L. "Peg", March 18, 2006 at age 80. Predeceased by her sister Suzanne Story Gelati. Survived by her husband of 58 years Eugene W. Benoit; children Eugene L. (Robin) Benoit of Fairport and Aline (Marshall Burlingame) Benoit of Waban, Mas-sachusetts; grandchildren Jim, Greg, Colleen and Jonathan Benoit and Brendan Hadcock; sisters Josepha Story and Barbara Story Everett; many nieces and nephews. Active in community service, as a Monroe County Election Inspector, 50 year member of St. Vincent DePaul Church. Involved from the beginning with St. Labre Indian School.

A Memorial Mass was said March 21 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to The Labre Indian School, Tongue River Road, Ashland, Montana 59003 or St. Vincent DePaul Church in her memory.


CLARENDON

•Kreighbaum, George L., age 90 of Clarendon, formerly of Albion, died March 19, 2006 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ola; also by his daughters Darlene (Raymond) Wilson of New Hampshire and Diane (William) Dawson of Brockport; his grandsons Tyler and Joseph; sisters Reba and Edith, both of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Gaines-Carlton Community Church. After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII he was employed at Dock's Floors for many years and became part owner of the business until he retired. Mr. Kreighbaum had also been a member of the Albion Chamber of Commerce.

Funeral Services were held March 24 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery with military honors. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gaines-Carlton Community Church or to the American Heart Association.


FANCHER

•Barney-Reulbach, Carolyn J., age 52 on March 21, 2006. Predeceased by her sister Linda Barney and her father Richard C. Barney. Survived by her husband Edward; brothers, Kenneth Barney, Michael (Cynthia) Barney; mother, Helen Barney; father and mother-in-law, Robert (Virginia) Reulbach Sr., brother-in-law, Robert Reulbach Jr.; sisters-in-law, Barb Testa, Debby (Michael) Schroedl, Cathy (John) Wolfe; 11 nieces and nephews as well as many beloved friends.

A Memorial Service was held March 25 at Holley First Baptist Church, Holley. Spring interment in Woodville. Memorials can be made to WNY A.I.D.S. Foundation.


GREECE

•Jurs, Shirley A. (Waye), March 15, 2006, age 61. Predeceased by her father, Milton Waye. Survived by her husband, Don; mother, Arlene Waye, children, Don (Ann) Jurs, Rhonda Jurs, Sharon (Michael) Robinson, Anita (John) McConachie: grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Brittney, Miranda, Jacob, Deanna, Nicole; brothers, Gary Waye, Richard (Nancy) Waye, Milton (Debra) Waye, Donald Waye; sisters, Janet (Dennis) Hamlin, Karen (Norm) St. John, Linda (Gary) Kludt, Betty Waye; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held March 18 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home Inc., Hilton. Donations can be made to American Heart-Stroke Association in her memory.


HOLLEY

•O'Mara, Orienta A. (Dimascio), age 85, died March 14, 2006. She is survived by her children, James (Gloria) of Albion, John (Carol) of Holley, Annette Geraci of Holley, Anita (Larry) Pimm of Bergen; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Frank (Barbara) DiMascio of California; several nieces, nephews, cousins. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Carolyn; siblings, Tony, Dora, Edward, Phillip and Rose.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 20 at St. Mary's Church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Holley Ambulance Inc. or to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
