Cody Dean, a Brockport High School senior, is this year's winner of a $250 scholarship presented by the local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Dean was recognized as the award winner at the Lake Ridge Gobbles 4th annual banquet and auction. He now has a chance of being selected for the $1,500 states scholarship and, if picked, could also be selected for the $10,000 National scholarship. Every year, each local chapter of the national Wild Turkey Federation presents a deserving student with a scholarship check.
