Senator Clinton to deliver GCC commencement address
U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver the 2006 commencement address at Genesee Community College.
Commencement exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 21, at 1 p.m. in the Batavia Campus Gymnasium. Genesee's class of 2006 will consist of about 700 students, and about 2,400 individuals are expected to attend the commencement ceremony.
Hillary Rodham Clinton serves on the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee; the Environment and Public Works Committee; the Special Committee on Aging; and she is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee. Senator Clinton chairs the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee.
