On Friday, April 28, Brockport's Ginther Elementary School held its annual Ginther Read A-Loud Day. Many people in the community came to share books with the students including Brian Edwards of the Rochester RazorSharks. Edwards visited Deb Roe's kindergarten class and read his favorite childhood story, The Cat in the Hat, by Dr. Seuss. The students had recently completed a basketball unit with their physical education teacher, Paul Carella, and were excited to meet a RazorSharks player.
