Land use discussions
About 60 people attended a land use workshop hosted by the joint Riga/Churchville Comprehensive Plan Committee on April 18. Teams, comprised of teens, seniors, town and village residents, business owners including farmers, representatives of community groups, elected and appointed officials, developed maps for future growth and development. The next step will be to consolidate and integrate the results into the update of the Comprehensive Plan. Residents had opportunity to express their vision of the village at the Charrette that was held May 5 and 6.
