BARRE
Lester, Frances L. (Clark), 93, formerly of East Barre Road, died May 5, 2006. She worked with her husband at his law firm, Lester, Keller and Rubenstein before retiring in 1970, and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Holley. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene in 1975. She is survived by children, Ralph Lester of California, Suzanne (Ronald) Harling of Barre, Diane (John) LeBlanc of Manitoba; eight grandchildren, Ann (Tim) Burley of New Jersey, Mary Hicks of Albion, Carol (Paul) Gillis of Webster, Patricia (Tim) Archer of Albion, Joyce (Daniel) Monacelli of Albion, Ronald (Margaret) Harling of Churchville, Stephen (Kathryn) Harling of Albion, Crystal Harvey of Toronto; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Edward Banker and Joseph Furney of Brockport; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by three sisters, Norma Graham, Verna Furney, Doris Banker.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 8 at St. Mary's Church, Holley. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Orleans County Nursing Home Activities Fund, Holley Community Library or a charity of one's choice in her memory.
BROCKPORT
Avery, Gertrude A., "Trudy," May 10, 2006, age 82. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald; and grandson, Charlie. Survived by her sons, Richard (Karen), Gary (Nancy); and long time companion, Charlie Marshall; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, soon to be 22; sister, Isabel Raville; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held May 15 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
Cretney, James Martin, age 51, of Dawsonville, Georgia, died April 21, 2006, the son of George and Mary Cretney of Brockport. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 17 at the Knollwood Lodge, in Northampton Park, starting at 1 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
Root, Larry W., April 29, 2006, age 59, in Madisonville, Tennessee. Survived by wife Ethel; sons Larry Jr. (Natalie) and Kenneth Root of Madisonville, Tennessee; daughter, Eileen (Joseph) Searchfield of LeRoy; seven grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Carmen, Arleen McCullough; brothers, Harold Root, Howard Root; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service was held May 7. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery.
CHURCHVILLE
Mosele, Barbara T., May 3, 2006 at age 83. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Elmwood L. Mosele; her children Kenneth (Sheila) Mosele, Diane (Paul) Nau, Deborah (Michael) Bommelje and Kimberly (Steven) Weir; grandchildren Kenneth Jr. and Christopher Mosele, Rebecca, Stacie, Kristen and Kathryn Nau, Meaghan and Samantha Weir; brother Justin Gerstner; sisters, Anne LaPlant and Alice (Anthony) Curatolo; many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass was said May 8 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Mary Cariola Children's Center, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
Tripp, Gordon L. "Trippy," May 6, 2006 at age 78. Predeceased by his wife Ila Tripp. Survived by his children, Karin (Bob) Oliver, Kurt Trip, Kim (Neil) Reberg, Kris (Joe Cicero) White, Kregg Tripp, Kathi (Nick) Filonovich; 14 grandchildren, especially his grandson and best friend Greg Oliver; four great granDchildren.
A Memorial Service was held May 9 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association in his memory.
Vath, Bonnie L. (Pfenninger), May 5, 2006. Predeceased by her son, Michael Campbell. She is survived by her son, Douglas Campbell; fiancee, Craig Shafer; sister, Sharon Dobra; brother, David (Alice) Pfenninger; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kyle and Melanie; best friend, Karen Okeen; a niece and nephews. cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services were held May 10 at the Alhart Funeral Home, Caledonia. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery, Chili.
HOLLEY
Fantasia, Anthony L., Died May 5, 2006 after a brief illness, at age 86. Predeceased by his wives, Josephine (Massuccio) and Lorraine (Fredericks), and his parents, Joseph and Jean (Ross). He is survived by children, Dennis (Tina) Fantasia, Beverly (Harry) Carter, David (Kathy) Fantasia; sisters, Nora Andreano, Emma Capuano; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and three stepchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 10 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors at Hillside Cemetery.
SPENCERPORT
Folker, Alma Corine, of Bellevue, died at Overlake Hospital Medical Center on April 28, 2006. She was 88 years old. She married Herman "Dutch" Folker Jr. in Rochester. She worked at Bausch and Lomb during the war. They settled in Spencerport in 1955 where she worked in the home. After the death of her husband, she moved to Bend, Oregon to be near her daughter, Laura. In 1984 she moved to Seattle to be with her other children, Dick and Carol. She moved to Bellevue in 1986. She is survived by her children Carol Eggleston of Fall City, Washington, Donald Folker of Madison, Alabama and Laura Speis of Fairport, New York; four grandchildren, Todd Speis of LaMesa, California, Tara Speis of Fairport, Greg Folker of Lexington, Kentucky, Kate Folker of Madison, Alabama and a host of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Richard Herman Folker; siblings, Janet Lewis and Russell Paige.

Reed, Michael P. Sr., May 8, 2006 at age 65. Predeceased by his father Robert R. Reed; his brother Daniel Reed; and his sister Roberta Zimbardi. Survived by his mother Wanda Reed; his wife of 45 years, Joyce Reed; his children Denise Lamoreaux, Michael P. (Liane) Reed Jr., and Tricia (Mike) Bennett; grandchildren Caitlin and Justin Lamoreaux, Michaela Reed, John, Alex and Tyler Bennett; brother Gerald Reed; sister Gertrude (Henry) Raecher; many nieces and nephews. Mike was a longtime member of the Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330.
Funeral Services were held May 12 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment private. Contributions can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance or to Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330 in his memory.
Tallman, Janice A., Spencerport/Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, May 9, 2006 at age 49. Survived by her parents, E. Richard "Dick" and Jean Tallman; brothers, David (Kristie) Tallman, Richard (Lisa) Tallman; nieces and nephews Mekenna, Evan and Lauren; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends, especially her close friends from the Palm Beach Post where she worked as a Graphic Artist Supervisor for the past 10 years.

WALKER
Klafehn, Altha H., April 24, 2006, age 86. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, 1962. She is survived by her only son, Robert J. Klafehn; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong and oldest resident of Walker, member of St. John Lutheran Church and former member of Walker Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral Services were held April 27 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. John Endow-ment Fund or Walker Fire Department in her memory.
