Sweden/Clarkson Rec Center announces programs

A schedule of summer programs has been announced by the Sweden/Clarkson Recreation Center. They are:

Pre-school Camp - will run for five weeks June 26 to July 28, four hours each day. The children will take part in fun, educational activities while making new friends.

Summer Day Camp - from June 26 to August 18. The camp will be broken up into eight weekly sessions. Must register the Thursday prior to camp. The camp will host children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. Drop-off children beginning at 7 a.m. Pick-up no later than 6 p.m.

Prices: week 1, 8 - $124 for the week includes Roseland Water Park and Darien Lake; week 2 - $59 for the week (no camp July 3 and 4); week 3, 5, 6 - $114 for each week, includes Minnehans, Letchworth Park trip and Strand Movie Theater; week 4, 7 - $89 for the week; week 2, 4, 6 - Sports camps offered at $20 extra for children if they are registered for that week of summer camp. Daily rate is $29/day or $44/day with field trip. Half-day rate is $54/week or $79/week with field trip; Jr. counselor rate is $79/week, (must be grade seven-nine and if there are two children in the same family, the second child is $10 of the final price.

Hage/Hogan Summer Basketball Camp - will take place June 26 through June 30 at the Sweden/Clarkson Community Center, located at 4927 Lake Road South in Brockport, for both boys and girls.

Participants in grades 3-6 will play from 8 a.m. to noon and participants in grades seven-12 will play from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a basketball for attending.
