Farmers market begins season on Father's Day

The third year of the Brockport Farmers Market begins Father's Day, Sunday, June 18 at 8 a.m. A strawberry social, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brockport Fire Department, begins at 10 a.m.

"We're going to have a lot of returning favorites," Village Trustee and Market Coordinator Carrie Maziarz said. "The market is the place to be - people come out to mix and mingle and buy local, fresh produce." The market will run on Market Street every Sunday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. until the last Sunday in October.
