LMH Twig Association awards scholarships

At a presentation ceremony on June 3, the Lakeside Memorial Hospital Twig Association awarded its annual scholarships to ten students who are working toward a degree in the health care field.

This year's recipients are: Rhiannon Bartz of Byron, Stacie Coon of Brockport, Kristina Englert of Byron, Morgan and Adam McCrea of Hamlin, Melissa Squires of Williamson, Kathy Bischoff of Williamson, Lin-Yuan Chiu of Rochester, Kaitlin Krist of Hamlin, Clark VanDenBerghe of Brockport. The alternates were: Tara Duchyns and Alexa Wray. The Dr. Dorothy Foster award was awarded to Tonya Naylor.

The Twig Association annually awards a $500 scholarship to each of ten students who are working toward a degree in a health care related field. "The scholarship winners selected this year are perfect candidates that are hard-working and devoted in continuing their education in the health care filed. We are very pleased with these students who are also actively involved in volunteering for their communities," stated Joan Buddle, president of the LMH Twig Association.
