New girl's basketball coach named in Spencerport

Spencerport Central Schools announced that Jason "Jake" Lenhard has been named as the Rangers new Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. He replaces Mike Decillis, who resigned after the conclusion of the season.

Lenhard has most recently been the boys JV coach at the Madison School of Excellence in the Rochester City School District. In addition, he was the JV girls coach at Greece Athena for three years. Lenhard is a graduate of Greece Athena High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He attended Nazareth College and was a member of the Golden Flyers Men's Basketball team. Lenhard has also been hired as a math teacher at Spencerport High School and resides in Spencerport with his wife, Julie, and their son, Jacob.
