Celebration of 30 years in ministry
The Reverend Joachim K. Wilck was honored at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour on the 30th anniversary of his ordination as a Lutheran Pastor. Offering presentations at each of the church's three Sunday morning services, the congregation presented Wilck and his wife, Debbie, with gifts to honor his service, followed by a reception held in his honor at the church. He has been at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour for two years, having been formally installed as pastor on May 15, 2004. A native of Saltzgitter-Lebenstedt, Germany, Wilck's family was sponsored to move to America by a Lutheran Church when he was six years old. Fluent in English and German, he has traveled to Germany as a translator for the bishop of the Southwest Ohio Synod. He is pictured surrounded by Sunday school students.
