Sweden Clarkson Baseball League wins Cross Town Cup

The Sweden Clarkson Recreation Department hosted the Cross Town Cup Baseball Tournament on June 24 at the Sweden Town Park. The teams that participated were teams from Sweden Clarkson Baseball League and the Rochester Hispanic Youth League. This year was the first year that the two leagues went head-to-head to win the Cup, with the Sweden Clarkson Baseball League winning the trophy for 2006.

The purpose of the tournament is to give children from both leagues an opportunity to play outside their normal schedule and to experience something different and share a fun filled day of inter-league play.
