Top notch student
Holley student Alyssa Lasch received the Andrew DeCarlo Achievement Award at the annual sixth-grade Moving Up Day awards assembly. She was selected for the award because she has the highest grade point average in her class - 94.69 percent. After the assembly, students and their families celebrated with a chicken barbecue then walked over to their new school, Holley Middle School/High School. All 93 students in Holley's Class of 2012 passed the sixth grade. Lasch is the daughter of Bob and Karen Lasch. Their other daughter, Jenni, won the DeCarlo Award three years ago.
