Principal Brian Bartalo, center, accepts a plaque honoring three former Hilton High School students who were killed and missing in action in Vietnam. The plaque recognized the ultimate sacrifice paid by David E. Lemcke who was listed as Missing-in-Action May 21, 1968; Gerald A. Wilson who was Killed-in-Action August 12, 1968; and John L. Waugh who was Killed-in-Action December 7, 1968. Gerald's brother and Rick Lemcke, supervisor of the Town of Parma and cousin of David. The honored served in the US Army Infantry. Both Moore and Danzig are veterans and traveled to Vietnam last year to assist in the search for the remains of those missing in action.
