Orleans County election districts consolidated for primary

According to Orleans County Election Commissioners Helen Zelazny and Dennis Piedimonte, election districts for the September 12 primary election will be consolidated. Polls will open at noon and close at 9 p.m.

The polling locations, along with election districts, are:

Albion Districts #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - Albion Town Hall, 3665 Clarendon Road, Albion
Barre Districts #1 and 2 - Barre Town Hall, 14317 West Barre Road, Albion
Carlton Districts #1, 2, 3 - Carlton Town Hall, 14341 Waterport Carlton Road, Albion
Clarendon Districts #1, 2, 3 - Clarendon Town Hall, 16385 Church Road, Clarendon
Gaines Districts #1, 2, 3, 4 - Gaines Town Hall, 14087 Ridge Road, Albion
Kendall Districts #1, 2, 3 - Kendall Town Hall, 1873 Kendall Road, Kendall
Murray Districts #1, 5, 6 - Murray Town Hall, 3840 Route 31, Holley
Murray Districts #2, 3, 4 - American Legion, 5 Wright Street, Holley
Ridgeway District #1 - Knowlesville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 3617 Main Street, Knowlesville
Ridgeway Districts #2, 3, 4, 5 - Ridgeway Town Hall, 410 West Avenue, Medina
Ridgeway Districts #6, 7 - Faith Bible Baptist Church, 3064 North Gravel Road, Medina

This Primary Election is open to registered voters of Orleans County enrolled in the Republican, Democratic, and Independence Parties.

Also available for this election is a centralized voting device permitting voters with disabilities the opportunity to vote independently. Voters wishing more information on this system, or wanting to make an appointment for voting can call the elections office.
