After auditioning at the Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, Paige Brongo was offered a spot in the Camp Broadway Give Me A Drum!® program. Brongo will be one of the performers to participate in a five-day program in New York City, and perform in the opening number of the 80th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. The five-day program will include a series of rehearsals and workshops, including a costume fitting and makeup workshop to prepare for the nationally televised performance. Camp Broadway holds auditions across America to find performers ages 10-14 to perform in the parade. Brongo is a student at LaDanse Workshop in Spencerport. September 10, 2006 |
