Defensive Player of the Week Rebecca Ritchie, Weber State freshman goalkeeper, was named Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week for August 28 - September 4. The Hilton native posted the first two wins of her collegiate career, helping Weber State defeat Northern Iowa and Wisconsin-Green Bay in Reno, Nevada. She tallied eight saves in the two matches and nine saves in a game with Utah State which the team lost. Ritchie stopped two shots on-goal for the first shutout of her career in a 2-0 win over Northern Iowa, then stopped six shots in a 4-2 win over Wisconsin-Green Bay.
