Lakeside Health System has elected Mark Maxim to its board of directors. Maxim resides in Spencerport. Maxim has a strong financial and analytical background, as well as a great deal of knowledge about community-based health care. He is the President of Home Care of Rochester (HCR). Maxim's leadership incorporates all planning, budgeting, and successful implementation of all operations within HCR. He has prior service as vice president of finance/CFO of Concentrix Corporation, as well as NalgeNunc International and is a certified public accountant.

Jason Adam Tranquill, son of Woody and Sharon Davis of Churchville, was commissioned into the U.S.A.F. as a 2nd lieutenant on July 17. He is enrolled in the certified registered nurse anesthetist program at the University of Buffalo.
