Ogden preliminary budget meeting set

Town of Ogden officials will meet to discuss preliminary budget figures for the 2007 budget year. The public hearing will be Wednesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ogden Community Center.

Included in the budget are the proposed salaries of the town officers: Supervisor, $78,000; Councilpersons, $9,100 each; town clerk, $59,100; highway superintendent, $73,700; town justices, $27,000 each. Salaries for officials in 2006 were: $75,300, supervisor; $8,700, councilpersons; clerk, $57,100; highway superintendent, $71,200; and justices, $26,000 each.

The budget will be available on October 2 at the town clerk's office.
