Weinraub, Barbara S., September 29, 2006, age 64. Survived by her husband, Dr. Ronald Weinraub; children, Krista (Steven) Millspaugh, Eric (Sheryl Berman) Weinraub, Vreton Weinraub; grandchildren, Jessica (Robert) Wirth, Steven Millspaugh and Benjamin Weinraub; brother, Richard Sparklin; sister, Sharon Drogo; and many friends.
A Service of Remembrance was held October 5 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton.
BARRE
Sabo, Albert, Age 78, died October 2, 2006. "Al" retired from Rochester Products in 1986 and had previously worked at Duffy Motts and Holley Cold Storage. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frieda of Barre; children, Deborah, Doreen, Della, Wesley, Scot; brothers, Julius and Anthony; sisters, Elizabeth and Frances; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Irene (1965) and brother, Edward (1982).
A Memorial Service was held October 6 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans in his memory.
BROCKPORT
Boozer, Robert E. (Bob), On October 1, 2006, at the age of 94. Predeceased by his loving wife Edythe (Jerry) McLane of Homestead, Pennsylvania and is survived by his daughters, Carol Barnard of Brockport and Cheryl (James) Brown of Spencerport; his granddaughter, Cherilyn Barnard of Lancaster, California; a dear friend Mary Miller; also numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Bob coached and taught at SUNY Brockport from 1947 to his retirement in 1979. He was also a retired Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, serving in WWII.
A Memorial Service was held October 5 at the First Presbyterian Church, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport or the Ellsworth Award, SUNY Brockport College Foundation, 350 Campus Drive, Brockport 14420 or a charity of choice in his memory.
Shirkey, David T., Beloved husband and father, age 59, died October 2, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident. David is survived by his wife, Cynthia Shirkey; son, William Shirkey and brother, Gary Shirkey; also aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held October 5 at the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #1039, Owego, NY. Contributions can be made to The American Heart Association, Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 21475, St. Petersburg, Florida 33742 in his memory.
HILTON
Gavigan, Fannie G. (Steele), June 24, 2006, age 92 in Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Hilton. Survived by twin sons, Kenneth (Mary) and Kermit (Marjorie) Gavigan; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Bob) Wilhelm; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; brother-in-law, Gerald Webster Sr.; nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Warren Gavigan Sr. and son, Warren Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial was said October 7 at St. Leo Church, Hilton. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Spen-cerport.
Kasper, Robert L., Sr., October 1, 2006, age 82. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mabel; his children, Nancy (Lasal) Banty, Mary Kasper, Robert L. (Diane) Kasper, Jr.; three grandchildren, Kristine, Sara and Kimberly Kasper; two brothers, Theodore "Ted" (Eleanor) and Donald (Kay) Kasper; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was said October 3 at St. Leo's Church, Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can offer prayers and Masses in his memory.
HOLLEY
Crandall, William R., Age 86, September 27, 2006. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann; sons, Brian (Christine), Wayne (Lynda); daughters, Carol (Tim) Stevens, Laurie (Christopher) Bennett; brother, Robert; sister, Shirley Rumsey; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held Sunday, October 8 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue, Albion. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
SPENCERPORT
Bunce, Richard E., October 2, 2006, at age 80. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Sally" Bunce; his children Kathleen (Charles) Romand of Albany, James (Cathy) Bunce of Spencerport and David (Hoinu) Bunce of Minneapolis, Minnesota; four granddaughters, Tracey and Kelsie Bunce, Selvi and Anna Bunce; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
Funeral Services were held October 4 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
Garlick, Nancy E., September 27, 2006 at age 60. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert F. Garlick; her daughter and son-in-law Cathi and Andy Squier; her granddogs Casi and Baili; several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Ada Rowe. Nancy was president and owner of Garlick Financial.

Mantel, Ray, died September 16, 2006. Predeceased by his father Roman Mantel. Survived by his wife Jenny Mantel of Burlington, Connecticut; daughter Kim (Dan) Ryan of Swampscott, Massachusetts; sons, Keith (Donna) of Charlotesville, Virginia and Scott of Georgetown, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Abby, Nate and Hillary Ryan of Swampscott, Massachusetts, LaRasha and Sabrina Mantel of Georgetown, Massachusetts; his mother Gwen Mantel of Spencerport; sisters, Beverly (Dave) Lamphron of Chili, and Mary (Harold) Martin of Churchville. Ray was a 1960 gradu-ate of Spencerport High School.
A Memorial Service was held September 19 in Harwinton, Connecticut. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
