Spencerport community ready to 'make a difference'

On Saturday, October 28 as in past years, community members in the village of Spencerport will participate in the nationwide Make A Difference Day.

There are various projects planned including fall planting and garden mulching and clean-up projects throughout the community. The NYS Water Environmental Association will have a booth set up to educate residents on stream monitoring along Northrup Creek.

Volunteers are invited to stop at the Spencerport Exempts beginning at 8:30 a.m. for refreshments before groups are dispersed throughout the village at 9 a.m. All are welcome.
