AREA
Parmele, Robert L., of Greece, formerly of Spencerport, age 80. He is survived by his wife, Lois (Cook) Parmele; his children, Craig (Ellen) Parmele, Cheryl (Steven) Fiore, and Scott (Lori) Parmele; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Shannon) and Amy Parmele, Stacey, Jennifer and Mark Fiore, Tim and Amanda Parmele; great-grandson, Jack.
A Memorial Service was held October 18 at Brockport Free Methodist Church, Brockport. Interment, Bath National Cemetery. Contributions can be made to American Heart Association in his memory.
Stevens, Shirley (Van Duren), of Rochester, formerly of Newburgh, New York, died October 5, 2006 after a long illness. Survivors include her children, Charlene (Christopher) Pasquale of Mt. Kisco, New York, Gary (Carol) Stevens of Brockport and J.C. (Juliet) Stevens of Rochester; grandchildren, Sarah and Julia Pasquale, Robert, Cary Ellen, and Paul Stevens and Emma Stevens.

ALBION
DuSett, Jr., Guy Gibson, 81, October 18, 2006. Survived by wife of 58 years, Dotty Quinn DuSett; five children, Guy "Gibson" (Sherry) DuSett III of Ohio, Dawn Donohoe of Churchville, Kim (Torrance) Bannister of Brockport, Danna DuSett of Albion, Madhu (Kalyani) Balachandran of Puerto Rico; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Ada) DuSett of Hamlin; sister, Olive Allport of California; several nieces, nephews; notably Gary, Lewis and Luke. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Lovina Cook, Caroline Reamer, Jennie Mills, Edith Buell, Esther Reis, Lewis and Richard DuSett. He served in the US Marine Corps from May 1943-December 1945; Masonic Lodge (#713 F&AM) in Kendall; President of Sandy Creek Cemetery in Murray for 35 years; Trustee/Usher of former Murray Baptist Church from 1953-84; grounds-keeper at Salmon Creek Country Club for 13 years; former 4-H leader of "Hindsburg Hillbillies Club," worked at Kodak from 1946-82 with film emulsion coating and retired in 1982 after 36 years of service; golfer since 1983.
A Funeral Service was held October 21 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery with military honors. Donations can be made to the Masonic Lodge, P.O. Box 490, Kendall 14476 in his memory.
BERGEN
Snyder, Warren B., Age 88, October 15, 2006. Predeceased by wife Leontine K. in 19780; son Dale W. Snyder; granddaughter Andrea Lynn Smalley; brother Carl L. Snyder; sister Erma Werner. Survived by two daughters, Donna Lee (Paul) Gibson of BC, Terry Jean (Dale) Smalley of Clarendon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews and several cousins.
A Funeral Service was held October 20 at Albion First Presbyterian Church. Interment, Acacia Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Long Term Care Unit at Medina Memorial Hospital in his memory.
BROCKPORT
Brennan, Arthur J. Jr., age 72, October 14, 2006 following a brief illness. A local builder and developer, Mr. Brennan had served on the Board of Directors of Lakeside Memorial Hospital and had also served on the Clarkson Town Planning Board. He is the beloved husband, father and grandfather to his wife, Beverly, daughters Cheryl (Waheed) Nashir of California and Laurie Brennan and her fiance Scott Holtzendorf and his daughter Hannah, all of Florida; his granddaughters Alaina, Lauren and Sophie; brother Dr. Mark (Carole) Brennan of Maryland and sister Joyce (Ted) Strang of Henrietta; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held October 19 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport. Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport or to Lakeside Hospital.
deGroat, Albert F., On October 17, 2006 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his wife Sophia and son Mark. Survived by his children, Martha (Phil) Richardson, Michael (Mary) deGroat, Melinda (Tim) Kewin, Michele (Thomas) Roche, Mary (James) Ross, daughter-in-law, Terry Rakov-deGroat; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother-in-law Aldolph Annalett; niece and nephew.
A Celebration of his Life was held October 20 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in his memory.
Maddalena, Isabella M., October 8, 2006 at age 93. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Maddalena; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter.
A Memorial Celebration of her Life was held October 18.
HILTON
Cameron, Ruth S. (Brown) (Neu), age 88, formerly of Hilton, died September 3, 2006 in Riverview, Florida. Ruth lived in New York from 1918-1978. She worked at Marple Furniture for many years and was a member of the Hilton Baptist Church. Ruth lived in Waco, Texas from 1978-1988. She then lived in Florida from 1988-2006. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Virginia Moore, Seminole, Florida; sons, Gary Neu, Hilton, John (Lynn) Neu of Bergen, Allan (Karen) Brown, Columbia, South Carolina, Bruce Brown, Arlington, Texas and sister Dorothy Mayer, McAllen, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Sunday, October 22 at 2 p.m. at Hilton Baptist Church, 50 Lake Avenue, Hilton. Contributions can be made to LifePath Hospice, Tampa, Florida in her memory.
Pennell, Simeon L., October 7, 2006 in Seminole, Florida, formerly of Hilton and Honeoye. Predeceased by parents William and Mary (Lyon) Pennell of Honeoye. Survived by his wife, Mary (Dahlheim) Pennell; daughters, Barbara (Michael) Lenzi of Media, Pennsylvania, and Joyce Pennell (Robert) Walker of San Mateo, California; sister, Cornelia Van DerKamp of Honeoye.

Bartlett, Esther C., age 93, died August 20, 2006. Her Memorial Service was held October 21 at the Holley First Presbyterian Church. Dillenbeck, Coral R., age 93, of Holley formerly of Prattsburgh, New York, died October 16, 2006 at the home of his son in Holley. He was a dairy farmer for 50 years and was sexton at Rural Cemetery for the town of Prattsburgh for 40 years. He was a member of the Prattsburgh Baptist Church and a former member Prattsburgh Grange.
Coral is survived by his son, Dale (Scheryl) Dillenbeck of Holley; daughter, Joan (Dick) Lang of Bismark, North Dakota; 11 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Neva Nims Dillenbeck in 1960 and his second wife, Lillian Dillenbeck in 1985; his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Dillenbeck and Myron Baran in September 2006.
Funeral Services were held October 21 at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, Prattsburgh. Interment, Rural Cemetery, Prattsburgh. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans County or the Prattsburgh Fire Department in his memory.
Simpson, Yvonne M. (Batty), Age 75. October 15, 2006. Predeceased by her father, Maynard (Lorraine) Batty; mother Rose (Charles) Defendorf; brother Jack (Sally) Piedmonte; mother-in-law, Lillian Simpson D'Lallo. Survived by her husband David Sr.; daughters, Sharon Mandracchia, Cynthia (Skip) Carpenter; son, David (Vickie) Simpson Jr. all of Holley; grandchildren Amy (Shawn) O'Mara, Jackie (Tony) Frankenberger, Sara Mandracchia, Travis and Andrew Carpenter, Erica and Kelsie Simpson, Sadie Flow; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ryley, Kaitlyn, Emma; sister Margaret Moriarty of Henrietta; brothers, John (Sue) Defendorf of Holley, Donald (Grace) Defendorf of Kendall; brothers-in-law Robert (Florence) Simpson of Medina, Tony D'Lallo of Spencerport; sister-in-law Jean D'Lallo of Holley; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Traub, Clarence L., Formerly of Holley, died in Sun City Center, Florida on October 13, 2006 at the age of 94. Predeceased by wife Mildred and son Ray Howard. Survived by son Leroy (Gerri); daughter-in-law Shirley; grandchildren, Debi Traub, Sharon (James) Smith, Laurie (Robert) Ballard, Rae (Scott) Edwards, David (Tracy) Traub, Kellie (Thomas) Allridge; 19 great grandchildren and special friends Judith Roseberry and Sally Carril.

Killion, Dr. Mead W., 94, formerly of North Chili, died October 6, 2006 at home in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Marian. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Vivian; a daughter, Carol Root, Jacksonville, Florida; a son, Paul (Fritzie) of Spencerport. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Weirich, Irene S. (Silco), Suddenly, October 1, 2006 at age 85, formerly of Ogden. Beloved mother of James (Sandy) Weirich of Virginia, Jini Weirich, Jerry (Gail) Weirich of Virginia, Jaci Szustakowski and Julie (Ken) Fischer; loving grandmother of Terra Weirich, Mariah (Mike) Rogers, Pamela, Matthew and Jennifer Weirich, Peter Doran, Michael and James Szustakowski; great-grandson, Peter Doran; sister of June Willard and Robert (Dorothy) Silco of Texas; and also many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
