Dianne Hickerson's watercolor painting, "Lenten Roses," was designated Best of Show at the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society (NFWS) National Exhibit in Lockport. The society's top award, the $1,000 Gold Award, was presented to the Brockport artist at the show's awards reception on October 22. The exhibit consists of 59 paintings by artists from New York, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, Florida, Indiana, California, South Carolina, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Georgia and Kentucky.
